Greetings,
My educational journey led me from Forest Park High School to Salisbury University, where I earned a BA in Sociology with a minor in Art. My pursuit of knowledge didn’t stop there; I went on to achieve a Masters in Education. While the path initially pointed towards teaching, my trajectory took an intriguing twist. I ventured into the world of substituting, enriching my understanding of diverse educational landscapes over a span of about two years.
The call of addiction counseling beckoned, leading me to a pivotal role at the University of Maryland. As the tides of change flowed, I felt the desire to formalize my expertise, earning certification from MABPCB, then known as such. In the year 2000, my journey reached a significant milestone as I became licensed by the State of Maryland as a LCADC – a title I proudly carry to this day.
A dynamic career took shape, characterized by various roles and accomplishments. The pinnacle of my time with the University of Maryland saw me as a Program Advisor, a role I embraced for over three decades, contributing profoundly to the institution’s growth. Shifting gears in 2014, I held the mantle of Clinical Director at the AA County Health Department, a chapter that culminated in 2019.
From there, I embarked on an enriching journey with Redeem, transitioning to the role of Director. Currently, I am humbled to be the Director for Pikesville Health, Winchester Health, and Orleans Health. Further enriching my journey, I serve as the Clinical Supervisor for Transformation Healthcare, extending my impact to multiple realms of care.
With each role, I carry a legacy of dedication and a commitment to fostering well-being. The winding path of my career is a testament to the transformative power of each endeavor and the unwavering passion that fuels my journey. , I invite you to connect with me via email at wayne@transformationhealthcare.com.
We look forward to connecting with you and being a part of your transformative journey.
